Cape Cod Package Store, a third generation family owned store of fine wines, liquor and beer, located at 1495 Falmouth Road (Route 28) is beginning a major store renovation next week. This will update the overall structure of the building, making it more energy efficient and expand retail square footage, allowing for additional services and products.
Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects, Inc. of Yarmouthport, MA has provided architectural and consulting services, while David Sauro of Cape Cod Construction Services, Inc., Centerville, MA will serve as the Construction Manager throughout the project.
This project will occur in three phases. The first phase involves demolition and new construction on the East end of the building, which will provide expanded retail space and new offices for the store and the existing John J. Pendergast, Jr. Real Estate.
The second phase will begin in early spring and includes the re-roofing and structural improvements at the West end of the building, along with creating a walk-in beer cooler. A temporary store will occupy the East end and for customer convenience the capability of ordering on-line for delivery of products will be provided during and after construction.
The final phase will be the interior finish of the East end which will include a wine tasting room with expanded retail area and temperature controlled fine wine storage area.
Come in during construction to see the progress and stay tuned online for our 70th year celebrations at www.capecodpackagestore.com. Cape Cod Package Store will be looking better than ever!
