Mid-Cape Home Centers announces retirement and promotions

South Dennis, MA – Doug Bohannon, President of Mid-Cape Home Centers, recently announced the retirement of Senior Vice President and CFO, Robert J. LaBrie, and the promotion of 2 others.

Mr. LaBrie has been with Mid-Cape Home Centers for 23 years in the finance department, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. After his retirement, he will stay on with the company in an advisory capacity.

Replacing Mr. LaBrie, will be Controller, Scott A. Sousa. On December 15th, the Board of Directors unanimously approved Mr. Sousa’s promotion to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sousa joined Mid-Cape Home Centers in 2008.

“Bob LaBrie has been a trusted friend and advisor to Mid-Cape Home Centers for the last 23 years.” Say Bohannon. “His daily input will be greatly missed, but we are confident that Scott will lead our organization with the same dedication to our employees and customers.”

Also promoted was Linda Hutchinson, who will assume the role of Assistant Controller, from her current position as Corporate Auditor. Mrs. Hutchinson joined Mid-Cape Home Centers in 1984.
