The Pickle Jar Kitchen, a new creative café, opens on Main Street Falmouth February 6, 2013. Owned and operated by Lis and Kevin Lay, and Ben and Casey Gallant, this innovative breakfast and lunch spot will be serving up wholesome food made with natural ingredients served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Whether you want to stay for a relaxing meal or just grab a quick snack and beverage for the road, The Pickle Jar Kitchen is sure to please everyone’s palette. Ingredients include farm fresh eggs, vegetarian hash, smoked bacon, quinoa, and of course a variety of homemade “house” pickles.
All pastries, including cookie jar cookies and baked items, will be provided by Butterqueen Cakes of East Falmouth, and special orders are available upon request for cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods. Chef’s Gallant and Lay are bringing their extensive training as executive chef’s and over 15 years of experience in a vast variety of restaurants including The Belfry Inn, Bleu, and Masaki in Hyannis, to this new entrepreneurial effort.
