Joy Jordan named editor of Cape & Plymouth Business magazine

Joy Jordan has been promoted from managing editor to editor of the new Cape & Plymouth Business magazine, which will be published monthly beginning in September. It combines the current Cape Business and Plymouth County Business magazines, each of which has been published every other month.

“We are excited to move Joy into a more active role in the development of our merged magazines – which reflect both the reach and potential of the Cape and Plymouth business marketplace,” said Ernie Johnson, co-publisher and managing partner.

The combined Cape & Plymouth Business magazine not only will be printed more frequently, but have a larger, more commanding design – including larger ads to help advertisers reach targeted businesses more effectively and economically, noted Johnson.

Jordan has been managing editor since the company’s inception five years ago. She will continue her production oversight while assuming a stronger role in planning content. “I am thrilled to be a part of such a great organization, and one that is focused on the improvement of the regional business community. I relish the opportunity to continue and expand that work with the launch of Cape & Plymouth Business this fall,” said Jordan.

Glenn Ritt, who has been editor, will continue with the company as co-publisher and direct his focus toward business development. “After many years working together, I am honored to pass the torch to Joy,” said Ritt.
