Cape & Plymouth Business continues its Family Business Summit series with “Exposing the Elephant in the Room,” an exciting and interactive educational forum for family business owners and managers, as well as for those businesses that work closely with family enterprises. Family business owners face a unique set of challenges that must be navigated with grace and thoughtfulness. Rather than telling you what we think you should know, this event is designed to answer the questions you are asking about the complexities and process of family business success and succession.
This event will be a half-day interactive workshop. The sessions provided will cover a variety of topics and provide you with the answers and information your family business needs. The program will include:
Session 1: The Bucket List for Family Businesses – Don’t ‘Kick the Bucket’ Before You Do These Things! What do successful families in business do to achieve their success?
Session 2: Family Business Boot Camp – Close to Home. Preparing both generations for a successful family business succession – a local company’s case study.
Featured experts for the event will include: Group Leader Dr. Cynthia Adams Harrison of Silver Bridge; Special Guest Jack Moore, Former Board Director of Benjamin Moore Paints; Panel Moderator Dr. Tom Davidow of Davidow Associates; and Panel Moderator Terry Shepherd of ROCG.
