Cape Medical Supply adds 5,000 square foot distribution and patient service center

Cape Medical Supply is excited to announce the addition of a new state of the art distribution and patient services center in Canton, MA, which will provide services throughout greater Boston, Eastern and Central MA. The new facility, conveniently located to several major interstates, opens up substantial new territories for Cape Medical Supply, who will service hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice agencies, individual patients, and a range of other healthcare professional partners from this new location.

“We have continued to see strong interest and growth potential from the greater Boston market,” commented CEO Gary Sheehan, “this opening solidifies our commitment to servicing the region and continues a track record of growth and success for which we are very proud.”

The new facility will be located at 960 Turnpike Street, in Canton, MA and will have two patient therapy rooms, primarily for Cape Medical Supply’s CPAP customer base. There is an additional 1,500 square feet of office/administrative space and 3,000 square feet of warehouse space.

“Our entire team is excited for this new expansion, and we have already met with a multitude of professional partners in the region who are welcoming us with open arms,” continues CEO Sheehan. “This doesn’t in any way change our commitment to servicing Cape Cod; it simply expands our service footprint and offers more customers the ability to experience our unique brand of service.”

The expansion is expected to immediately add four full time positions in the new territory and will continue to produce employment gains at the company’s headquarters in Sandwich, MA, where core back office functions such as customer service, billing and reimbursement and executive management will continue to be housed. This is Cape Medical Supply’s fourth location, joining the existing infrastructure in Sandwich, Falmouth, and Hyannis.
