Help Desk/Network Support

Help Desk/Network Support will support and implement complex data network infrastructures. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues. Act as first level of customer support for end users. Troubleshoot Windows server 2003, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention. Install network equipment, software, applications and services, create and update documentation and read and understand logs.

Experience in LAN/WAN, VPN architectures, good security knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and Windows operating systems. Monitor servers and networks to ensure proper capacity, develop disaster recovery plans and engage in company-wide network planning and design.

Experience/Qualifications:
This position is a step above entry level with ability to grow with the company. 2 year relevant work experience or college degree and Microsoft certified preferred with a familiarity of servers and server architecture. Must have strong communication skills and be a team player. Must be able to work outside normal hours.
