Local author, business expert to hold ‘Meet the Author’ book signing April 8

Business consultant and author Brenda Wornum Moore will hold a “Meet the Author” book signing event from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday April 8 at Tamboo Bistro & Ultra Lounge, 252 Main St. in Brockton.

Wornum Moore, a Brockton resident, will sign copies of her book, Unleash the Power of a Business Plan: What You Need to Know Before You Open Your Doors for Business. The free event will also feature hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes and a chance to discuss business trends with the author.

“In a tough economic climate, creating a thorough business plan will give you a deeper understanding of the risks and challenges of starting a business,” said Wornum Moore, CEO and president of BWM Consulting, Inc. “For example, is your business concept feasible?
