Professional Networking Alliance (PNA) was founded in March of 2009 with the idea of building a small collection of highly skilled, non-competing business people focused on building long term relationships for our mutual benefit. Contrary to other networking models that focuses on growing numbers of bodies via segmenting portions of business activities and then applies heavy pressure for referral production, this group grows its member base very carefully and values the relationships built over anything. The concept is, if we focus on building whole businesses and do so with those we have had the time to get to know and trust, the quality of what we do will be far greater and valuable. Referrals naturally and more powerfully flow out of this slow methodical approach. Consequently, we have two levels of invitees. One is simply a non-competing guest. The guest has a one time opportunity to meet our members and any other guests there in attendance. The other is a guest that may be interested in joining the group as a full member. Keep in mind, all guests are vetted in advance by the members to assure no conflicts exist with standing members. This helps avoid awkward situations before they occur.
