After an undeniably challenging period, conditions have clearly turned the corner in Massachusetts and businesses have been refining their models to keep up with the trends and challenges in our region. The rules of the game have changed and businesses must understand and respond to the current marketplace realities to best position themselves in this new economy.

DIFFERENCE MAKERS
This event will honor and celebrate local Difference Makers that are positively impacting the South Shore and Plymouth business communities. These businesses and business leaders are making a difference in a variety of ways, including new product development, research and development, and growth of a business, group of businesses, health care institution, college or university, or nonprofit agency. The selected individuals will be profiled in the June 2012 issue of Cape & Plymouth Business magazine and recognized at the May 23 event.

LEARNING
In addition, we are bringing together speakers that will help small businesses focus on the new realities of doing business and at the same time celebrate the new Regional Economic Development Partnership spearheaded by the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
