A one-stop career center offering job/career search services to job seekers and recruitment assistance to employers throughout the Cape and Islands.
Because many of these services are prepaid by our tax dollars, there is no charge to employers for posting job orders, using our facilities for recruitment purposes and for any labor market information they might need. When we post job orders, we immediately conduct a search of our current pool of job seekers to identify any possible matches to your job order. If there should be a match, we contact the job seeker to see if they are interested in the position; if they are, we refer them to you. In addition to these basic services, we can also serve as your HR deparment or become an extension of your HR department. We can review resumes, pre-screen and interview candidates, referring only those who meet your selection criteria. Career Opportunities can do as much or as little as you desire. Depending on the extent of your needs, there may be a nominal charge for these intensive services. We also provide employers avenues for recruiting job candidates, such Job Fairs, Information Sessions, Hiring Events and the opportunity to have your position promoted on Job Alert Monday. Once a member you can submit as many job orders as you would like and it doesn't cost you a cent.
