Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod & The Islands

Since 1984 Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod & the Islands (ASCCI)has been this region's primary provider of support and education to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia's and the family and professionals who care for them. At present, there are over 10,000 individuals in the Cape & Islands region with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. Because there is no cure or medical interventions for the symptoms of the disease, the care of the person with Alzheimer's and/or other dementia's is dependent upon the health and competency of their family caregiver. ASCCI works closely with family caregivers from diagnosis through hospice and all the faces of the disease in between.
