Remember how much you used to love playing with kaleidoscopes as a child? Well you still can!

We have the largest collection of kaleidoscopes in New England, from kids' scopes/kits all the way up to limited-edition, handcrafted "interactive art" made of wood, metals, glass, etc. created by 25+ professional kaleidoscope artists from around the country. We also have handcrafted glass jewelry, kaleidoscope-inspired jewelry, photography, quilts, books, and notecards. This is a hands-ON shop where you'll find gifts of all price ranges, and where children of all ages are absolutely welcome.

Our artist-in-residence, Jon Greene of Chesnik Scopes, often demonstrates how he creates his beautiful line of wheeled kaleidoscopes, loved my collectors since 1980 when his mother and step-father, Janice & Ray Chesnik started the business. Chesnik Scopes are sold at over 120 fine gift stores & galleries throughout the U.S., and parts of Canada and Japan. And since April of 2010, Cape Kaleidoscopes, managed by his wife, Suzanne Greene, has been one of those fine shops.
