Our team is lead by Mike Burton, President of Slade Mortgage Group. A 1984 graduate of the Univ. of Massachusetts School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance degree. Mike has been originating loans for 24 years. His experience includes Commonwealth Mortgage Co, The Boston Five Cents Savings Bank and Manager Citizens Bank/Citizens Mortgage Corp, Mike started Slade Mortgage in 1997 in order to offer borrowers in Massachusetts & Florida financing rates, terms & options that banks can not. After 11 years of working for the big lenders and banks, Mike found a void of service and low rates and closing costs that the big lenders and banks cannot fill. Slade Mortgage Group was formed to fill that void. Mike lives in Falmouth with his wife and daughters and enjoys coaching his girls, tennis, fishing, golf, running and boating.
